Your first visit is an assessment: clinical examination, digital X-rays and a discussion of what's realistic for your case. You'll leave with a clear plan — the recommended option, the expected duration, and the full cost — before anything begins. Most crooked-teeth corrections run 6 to 24 months depending on severity and the option chosen, with review visits every 4 to 8 weeks. Mild adult cases treated with aligners are often finished within a year. Individual results and timelines vary with case complexity and, for aligners, with how consistently they're worn.
Honest considerations before you decide
- Retention is part of the treatment, not an optional extra. Teeth have a lifelong tendency to drift back toward their old positions. After active treatment you'll wear retainers — full-time briefly, then at night — and skipping them is the single most common reason corrected teeth go crooked again.
- Aligners only work as much as you wear them. If 20–22 hours a day of disciplined wear isn't realistic for you, fixed braces will get you a better result.
- Not every case needs the premium option. Severe misalignment corrected with metal braces is money better spent than a stretched aligner plan that can't finish the job. We recommend by case, not by price.
